About Us

I began my financial services career in 1982 with The Bank of Nova Scotia. I worked as a Senior Account Manager with Central Trust and eventually became a branch manager with TD Bank. I left TD in 1998 to pursue a career that allowed me to focus on providing clients with full service independent financial advise and products. I have worked as an Investment Advisor with BMO Nesbitt Burns and with Blackmont Capital until 2009 when I moved my business to Canaccord Wealth Management.

As a Banker for 20 years, my financial background has created a solid foundation that continues to enable me to address all areas of my clients' financial well-being. In fact, my experience and knowledge provides me specialization in areas that are beyond the scope of many other investment advisors. It also allows me to be more innovative when completing financial plans. I hold a "Professional Financial Planner" designation. Also, I am licensed to provide a full range of life insurance products.

I live and work in Halifax. My wife Cathy and I have two children - 'Amy and Andy.' I spend as much leisure time as possible on the water sailing and boating around Nova Scotia. While I am passionate about my work, I believe in spending quality time with family, friends and living life to the fullest each and every day.
